I got a new campaign running, but not sure if I should run it on Saturdays or Sundays yet, right now we've decided on Sundays but I might have to move it to Saturdays. And of course, I'm looking for some dependable players as well.
Level 10 gestalt game, 75k gold to spend, 36point buy for stats, anything is allowed as long as it is cleared with me first. Also, we're rolling hitpoints, whatever your total is, if it's less than half then you get to reroll the entire thing (more than once if needed, as long as it's at least over half the total HD possible)
The plot we're on now is called 'The Tale of Two Towns', which is about two towns that are really close to one another are at a hostile time with one another. I've a ton of players now, but the second session has yet to get here and I'm not sure how many people will show up, but if I end up with alot of people then I might just make two seperate groups for two seperate days out of the week. I don't know yet. I'm just making sure right now, that we have enough people for each session incase a few drop or something.

Okay, when someone asks you to stop something offensive, the proper response is not to argue. In general, it's good to acknowledge the request and cease the offending behavior. It is NOT good to sit there and claim that you should have a right to be offensive. It is also bad to try arguing that nobody is offended, and therefore you can be offernsive.
Honestly, people, this is the second-fastest way to get banned (the fastest being reckless spamming). Admins don't intercede often, and when we do, we have reasons for it. When we tell you to stop something, we don't want a debate, we don't want you to defend your actions - we want the actions to stop. So just a friendly public service announcement for anyone who thinks impersonations, dice spamming and unqualified harassment are a god-given right: being called on a violation of Rule One means you're being a dick. Being a dick is bad, so stop it. If you try and justify being a dick, that is compound dickery and you will be removed. Teh end. |

An SR4 game.
The intial plot will deal with the disaperence of a well known Earth-Mars ship pilot.
I'm seeking at least three players. PC Roles that need to be filled are: Hacker, Rigger. PC Roles I would like to see as well: Magic user (any type).
If you enjoy mystries, bank hiest movies, McGyver, then you might find this game is for you.
Game time: Satrudays (or Sundays) 12 PM Alaskan. Game may start in 2-3 weeks.
If ROLE playing, PC/NPC interaction, and in depth characterization bother you, you......most likely won't even be looking at this forum so I won't even say more about that. |

Someone posted this in the Veav I lobby today. Makes me feel sad to share the faith of the creater of that nonesense.
I don't know if talking about religion is banned here, but I figure I'll ask what people think. Mainly Christans/RPG players.
Also, why do ya'll think they bitch about Pen/Paper RPGs like D&D, but not MMOs (people bitch about them for other reaons), and why nobody bitches about RPG video games?
On a semi-related background note of this: This whole anti-D&D Christan thing got started (from what I've heard) by four-seven drugged up teens playing D&D one night, and killing one another as there characters died. A few made the lot look bad. |

Ok well I've been talking to Darren, and I know he wasen't there but he said he sees my point of view and sees that there was just a slight misunderstanding. What happened was that I turned scrolling off so I couldn't see anything I was rolling which confused me. Then, after I see that scrolling is off I turn it back on and go to hit F1 for my greeting but accidentally hit F2 for some other joking thing I was doing earlier. I didn't mean to be spamming and I know I should have just said sorry, but I was sort of in the middle of about to explain myself when I got banned. It was just an accident and at least now I get to explain myself before getting cut off abruptly. |
