Several people have been banned recently for willful violations of rule one, and have shown willingness to run another server under the name OpenRPG Veav, take my name, and in general try for a little character assassination. Well, whatever. There is no other OpenRPG Veav server. Any exceptions to this have been due to technical issues; if you aren't having any trouble with OpenRPG Veav I, then disbelieve the illusion. |

Can someone help me with this? I don't know what is wrong with OpenRPG 1.6.2 now, I can load 1.6.1 and run it, but when I try loading .2 version it only loads the splashscreen and that's it. Can anyone help me with this? I use Win XP. |

So, I thought I'd spice things up in this form with a word game of some sort. Seeing how I'm pretty god damned bored, I've got tonnes of ideas for such activities.
Here's the rules: We are going to write a story. Yay. One sentence each it can contain as many commas, colons and semi-colons as you please but when you've put a dot, questionmark, or anything else to signal the end of a sentance, it's someone elses turn, 'kay? : -D
The story doesn't have to make sense either. <.<

Hello all.
For some reason after I installed 1.6.2, I can't connect too Veav I, or any of the servers that require 1.6.2
When I try too open it, I get the splash screen, and after that nothing. Why I flip the windows I see the sign for OpenRPG but can't open it... Then is dissapears.
I checked on the proccess my laptop runs and python or any OpenRPG programs don't run... Just in case is needed my OS is XP.
I am at my wits end. Need help. |

Act I: The Hunted
The party starts off with a stronghold (the Arl Llin Keep) that they own which is located about 3 miles from the capital city of the Rhyn Empire: Vhyka Kal Duin.
The adventure begins late at night when a mysterious individal, garbed in a torn, bloddy black cloak, knocks on the stone doors of the stronghold. He is bleeding profusely, a large slash mark tearing his face and neck open. In his bloody hands he holds a thick book bound by gold and silver metal clasps. He falls to the ground, life waning and says: "Take this...the grimoire of Zos and do right by it! I can carry this burden no more!" He slumps upon the stone steps and takes his last breath.

The first session is on the 19th of this month. On this day we will roll for stats and begin the session.
The usual D&D races and classes apply to the world I've created for the campaign.
Important Note: Only for the introduction it is assumed the players answer the knock on the stronghold doors to see who it is. Always however, during the session, I will make no assumptions of what players will do. The method I employ as a GM is to describe reality and then ask what the players actions are.

Hello all! This is to invite everyone (particularly those who have asked for it - MIndless, Mavrick, Kuro, and Nebosuke) to a planning session for a Friday Morning (9am EST) D&D campaign.
This week's session will mostly be meant to organize things. If enough people (with complete character sheets <_<) show up then perhaps a full session can even be run.
