How many levels of recursion or self-reference can you have before it all falls into a dirty scrum of pop culture?
Bah, it's like everything: research, even. Someone comes up with a fantastic new idea, and within a decade it's a field in and for the sake of itself.
I don't even need to MENTION fashion.
Nothing's new anymore, and I'm not post-modern enough to be happy with that.
