I realize that serious talk doesn't really fit in here, but what a horrible day! Space Shuttle Columbia breaks up over Houston. And I go to Slashdot to see what everyone has to say, but I miss that article and see:
PADDYM, NWLINK HAS BOOTED YOUR EMAIL AND COMIC HOST BECAUSE (I am not making this up) SOMEONE DDOSSED MY HOST!!! This is like a criminal coming by and robbing your house, and you get booted out of your housing development because you seem to attract robbery. WTF?!
But I guess SDF shouldn't have signed that contract that meant that if anyone attacked them they would lose their service.
But that really doesn't compare to the Columbia Shuttle disaster, but it makes it a much worse day since I cannot check email. |
