well if ur willing to believe the new "you" is alive at all, who really cares if true you dies in a sufficiently painless manner? heck i die everynight in a very pleasant manner to be replaced by a new proxy-brane consciousness instance upon restart! creating a new duplicate brain is just like taking an extra nap ZZZZZZZZZ
on teh other hand if machine brains have no conscious than it totally sucks cause you lost your only conscious and no one will ever know!!!!!! |
