The blues hit all of us at one time or another. I'm coming out of a recent little funk myself. Lost my voice for a month and it shook me up. (see the blues below) Every year I take a 5 day vow of silence - no words read or spoken or heard. Forced silence is another ball game. When I'm in a funk, I have a frighteningly handsome Indian friend who says to me, "Buck up little Mister." I pass on this prudent advice. |
