i dunno about the Dos mame, but i know my sexy win98 versiono allows for state saves. i am currently abusing to beat Bubble Bobble, arcade0 stile!

just hot down the shift and press f7 too save, then chose slot. then, when u faile misrably at being the best green bubble-blowing dion u can be, press f7 and then saved slot! restorato!

sometimes sound cuts out if u exit then restore. but mb that is my crapo SoundBlaster: Live card. its the max incorrectly working right now.
