anyway. unlike most americans, i actually get as much sleep as is reccomended for someone of my age, namely 10 hours or so a night. as i understand it (and i cant say im well versed here) this is reccomended becuase one Rapid Eye Movement take about 3.5 hours for someone my age, and usually you go thought 2 cycles of this a night. most adults can get by on 8 hours with no qualms, as their REM stages tend to run more towards 3 hours. the older you get, the less time your body needs to sleep. i wonder if nature was trying to tell us something there? anyway, becuase i get THROUGH my rem cycles where most people wake up towards the end of the seccond one, i allmost never remember my dreams. i dont know if thats a good or a bad thing. its nice, becuase you really are more rested when you get up at the right time. on the other hand, its only on a bad day that i dont get enough sleep, which also tends to be when i am woken up in a rem cycle by my alarm clock. thus, only on bad days do i know my dreams.
