as I said before, I buy my first pipe today. something of an american rite of passage, I suppose. they keep saying american is a land without tradition, but i think its god plenty.

im studying the 50's and Nam right now in english. you ever notice that all those old cheezy 50's educational films are about a quest for tradition? they present american society in a way very similar to National Geographic. I dont know what it means, but it sure says something.

your complements are appreciated. i dunno where im going in this crazy world, but I still have a year to 2 to decide. I think i have fallen in love with asian culture, the Japanese in particular, and I am currently working on learning the language. I was able to translate an entire speech baloon (with kanji), which is prety good for only having some dictionarys and a lot of time.

I think im to young and resultfull of old things to get into 15th century poetry. give me a while to get into collage and then i will start to respect the age of things.

gotta go, class startes soon.
