We've covered this ground already. If we're speaking strictly in semantics, strictly in technicalities, there is no distinction. It's all just electrical impulses. Still - the nomenclature of thought and emotion is not meant to be a physiological interpretation. We're talking about less definite things.
If you want to go there, though, I ain't a biology major. Round one up, preferably one specializing in neurology, and get him/her to point out the section of the brain dealing with logic, and the section dealing with the sort of emotion we've been talking about. They ARE different - never the twain shall meet and all that. |
