the ending to Blade Runner becomes a lot wierder when you know a small fact that the writer didnt mention: THE MAIN CHARACTOR IS A REPLICANT!!!!


seriously. the writer said, at some point, that he had written the main charactor as a repilcant but never mentioned it anywhere in the script. however, it rases the question: dose it change the story at all? i think, perhaps, it changes the viewers emotional resonence with the charactor, but i dont think it really has any impact on what happens.

kinda like, if you look all the charactors from some other movie, and replaced them all with robots, but had them behave and act exactly like humans, would it matter?

i guess thats one of those big philosophy questions: of things are wrong on a fundimental level but they still work at a higher level, should we worry about it?
