Tom confirmed about a week ago that the bonuses are in the game already. It's 25 pts for playing 7 tiles at once, 50 for 8, 75 for 9, and 100 pts if you use all 10 tiles at one time.
As for the time limit, it used to be 2 minutes. I kind of agree that the current 6 minute time limit is a bit much... I wouldn't mind have it reduced to the old 2 (or even 3) minutes.
