Well to make the 15 letter word we worked as a team .. (game 16 as it was known then..similar to games 10 and 11 now but less well known) We made parts of the words first... planned the whole thing out - it was *alot* of work. I remember on one of the games... we were waiting for just one letter to finish the 15 lw.. for half the game.. I accidently used that letter when it finally did come up (there was one more thank god) LOL
They were fun to make the first couple of times...but once done a few times.. enough was enough LOL :) I believe Nick was the person who orignally thought of the idea of a 15 letter word..and I put it to the test...:)

As far as how the Z was worth 180 ... the way we planned the 15 letter word.. the Z would go in at the end.. on a double letter score times 3 X 3 X 3 (cause we hit all 3 of the triples at the same time finishing the 15 letter word) Trust me it's alot of work .. perhaps someday you'll see another one done.. I'm not in any hurry to do another.
Maybe Tom has one of them in his archives... LOL :)
