This has probably been asked before, but I'm wondering if the old interactive stories still exist somewhere...

I'd love to see them again, since i contributed quite a bit, and really enjoyed all the entries.

The gumball machine scenes were great...

LJ and I just set the best score of all time on Scribble, excluding those old 15-letter word 2000+ point affairs :-)

The old record, set back in 1998, was 1442. It was bested by 2 points :-)

Well, that took a little longer than expected (not my fault!) but the site is going again now... and it should be up consistently until June 2001 or so.

Snoot is going down Thursdayish so I can move to my new dorm room; it'll probably return around Saturday.

In regards to your question as to why no one played the one game on 8/1, there were no vowels and I could come up with no words without vowels:)

After weeks of stalling, I finally moved snoot to my newer old computer. (And it only took me about 15 minutes to do, jeez).

This one's got more megahertz but more importantly, 5 1/3 times more ram! I think it'll make everything run a lot more smoothly.

Let me know if you have problems.

I've come across a couple of four letter words in hangsnoot (I don't mean swearing) when I thought it required at least five.
