Dear Ephesus

I'm been a Tom7 fan for a few years now, and I think you're cool. That, however, is not the topic of this post. I was just wondering (a long time ago) about something. One time I saw a post on one of your pages, and it said something to the effect of: "Can we use your fonts in our album art?" and you said, "Yes." I remember that part, because it was funny. Anyways, not long after that, or maybe it was a long time after that, I bought the album "The Absent Sounds of Me" by Dear Ephesus. Looking inside, I saw something that resembled one of your Tombats. It was really small, but I'm almost positive it was yours. It was weird. Just wondering if you had ever noticed, or if you knew who it was who asked you if they could do that. Just curious.

P.S.- A while ago our band recorded a demo (and released a whole four copies) and I used some of your stuff in it. Hope you don't mind. The only other person who has the CD insert thing besides myself is a friend of mine in Germany. I gave you credit for them, though, so.....

Hey there!
Nice fonts mate.
By the way, are you aware of UK dance artist Mr.Scruff? Your style passes a resemlance to his graphic art.
Check http://www.mrscruff.com/ and then rush out to buy his album 'Keep It Unreal' as it's the bee's knees.
Adios.

i'm an up-coming graphic designer. i've taught myself all the usual programs, and i've learned that i'm a font junkie! i would love to create fonts on my own, and i was wondering----what do you need to get started? a pen and paper (obviously), a scanner, but are there any legitimate font-creating programs out there?
help!

well it all started when i installed this program called the font thing, and i tried to install the fonts that came with it, using that program. well it wouldnt let me do it so i decided to do it the manual way (copying them all to windows/fonts) and ever since them, my font viewer doesnt work and i cant install new fonts. some loser told me to delete them all then re-install them, but only half of them are still there and i've lost a ton of system fonts like courier and verdana!! its driving me crazy, im a font maniac and i cant stand not being able to use all these cool fonts i found!!! HELP ME PLEASE!!
Thank you

I've recently developed a graphical menu for a certain boot loader, and use your font to draw menu entries. This is very good. Thank you.

Tom:

You provide us with an excellent service... we appreciate the free fonts you create and the effort you go through to be thoroughly creative.

I thank you on behalf of the cheap buggers online everywhere.
