I.e. Give me a break. When I was asked whether "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" was funny, I said, "not really" and other people said, "oh come on, it was pretty funny." I suppose compared to other recent comedies, they might have been right. But I should have made myself clear. I should have said, "not really funny enough for them to make a spin-off TV series." Then I'm sure that most people would have agreed with me.
Because what movie was really funny enough to make a spin-off? There was that Ferris Bueller series, but I'm not sure how they thought that was going to work. Was Ferris Bueller going to miss EVERY day of school?
Anyways, the point is, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" should NOT have a TV series. But it does. And of course it doesn't have all the original actors, so it's like she married someone else. That's about the only funny part. And I hope you're all happy for enjoying the movie SO MUCH!!!!
