i didnt really h8red it.  I used 2 b pro-opengl because of

A. Go Linux!  Go Mac!  Fux MICOR$0FT D00DZ
B. fux MONGOLOID VARIABLE NAMING CONVENTIONS (or whatever stupid country)
C. fux COM interfaces

but .NET MANAGED DIRECTX9 has eliminated porblem B and eliminated or at least hidden problem C. and I'm just gonna have to get over my A problem bacause:

D. OpenGL is several years of technology behind DirectX!!! mb with 2.0 GL catches up, but then mb DirectX advances again and OGL takes several years to catch up again?! then again mb Microsoft uses patents bought from SGI to shutdown OpenGL 2.0 vertex/fragment shaders?!!!!!
