i also realized its okay for X to cause itself in fact that is what always happens according to the manipulability account of causality (A causes B if when I set A to one thing, P(B) is different from if set A to some other stupid thing!) sadly X causing ~X is by this account impossiblo because if when u set A it at the same time is ~A then u didnt set A in the first place!!!!!!! (actually these are variables not propositions so my post is type error but whatever!)
