the relationship between ultrafinitism and the 'porblem of induction' is eluding me. it seems like there ought 2 b 1--the ultrafines doubting existing of numbers that it is imposible 2 observ proof of seems so much like Hume refusing to generalize observs of individuals to the set that contains those individuals.
otoh, they do not seem to want 2 believe that numbers are 'out there' independent of physical world--biggest existing number is depenedant on physical properties like information capacity of universe? but knowledge of all physics is science induction
