well if u link against the /sw/lib ones its still gonna suck cause people will have to install Apple X11 or whatever to make it go. I mean if u want to run escape in a Gnome desktop on my iBook that's a great BUT NO ONE WANTS TO DO THAT!!!!

and u probably need to get the SDL source and build it and statically link it in. I was able to build escape doing just that, except i don't kno how to build statically? PROXY ISN'T GOOD AT READ GCC MAN PAGE: i tried "-static" and that didn't do what i wanted and i'm not smart/patient enough to know what i'm really supposed to do or really if its even possible with Apple's gcc installation?
