Just as an "addendum", we used to get:
- 25 points for a 7-letter word
- 50 points for an 8-letter word
- 75 points for a 9-letter word
- 100 points for a 10-letter word (using every single tile that you're given)
I think a 10-letter word only happened about twice way back when, but it'd be nice to get this kind of scoring back, as we strive to reach the 1000 point level of scoring.
Of course, it'd also help if we remember where all the DWS, DLS, TWS, and TLS tiles are located but that's another story...
