Austin, I am sincerely sorry if I have made any of those unkind comments. There are people who purposely sabotage the boards, and I am afraid I may have confused you with one of them.
Unlike Scrabble, scribble is a cooperative game... we try to help each other out to make the best, highest scoring plays for the game. This is done with set ups. Scroll down the chat list before you make your play to see if there are any notations like "X set" then look at that play. Make 2 words for the set up, with the premium letter on the blue square. "oe" is a common set up for the J. If you see it building up to a light blue box, you might play "jet" to make the 2 words and 54 points. Always try to make 2 words from a premium square. S's are just one point, but can mean a whole lot more if you use them to make 2 pluralized words in one play. A seven-letter word starting at the middle of the board is a set up, hopefully for an 8-letter word spanning 2 triple word scores. Please don't put a word in row 14 down as it will block the set up. Thanks for posting, welcome to scribble and please accept my humbled apologies ;-) |
