I AM a webbie, you missed that part of the thread.  I said the anono-webbies, the ones who choose not to use a nick, that I have seen playing usually do not play cooperatively, tho there are plenty of 'named' webbies that don't either and plenty of 'puter users that don't either.

scribble is not Scrabble, and set-ups are a part of the strategy to maximize the points.  scribble is not Scrabble, and wordfinders are not forbidden.

I find people who purposely foil set-ups a whole lot more frustrating than ppl who make multi-plays, probably because I realize that the multi-play is a result of frustration from having set-ups foiled.  Viscious cycle, hmn?

As to the comment "the play the expert thinks is the best play" -- if you have  a play that is more advantageous to the game, do it.  Mike had suggested a play once, and I thought it blocked another play, so I just said so.  He saw I was right and we adjusted our game; that's cooperation.
