I was the one who made the comment, and I am deeply sorry that it offended you, alpha. It was poor judgement and done in poor taste.
I will not comment on other aspects of your post at this time because I feel that it would put a big "BUT" (as in, "but I had an excuse" -- which I did not) into this apology that I want you to know is sincere.
The only way I can think of to make amends is to refrain from making all negative comments in the future.
