A 15-letter trip is planned nearly from the start, from what I understand. Decide on a 15-letter word that (ofcourse) puts at least one premium on a DLS. Then, you have to set up the word by making a couple of set ups that have small words from that big one in it.
All plays are 1 or 2 letter plays, saving the letters you need for the triple trip. It takes a lot of strategy, and patience.
