Dammit - I (again) hit enter after typing in my re line, which sends a blank message. Sorry.
This is a serious question, not intended to start a war of words: we are again seeing a number of players that don't respond to the chat at all, either by paying attention to requests for plays or to questions about why they made a particular play, nor do they post chat themselves. Is it possible those players are not seeing the chat? I know (being a webTv person myself) that when using webTv, the screen shows the board only the the 'key' button -- I do not see that there's chat down below unless I scroll down. And I admit that when I first started playing, I didn't know there was any chat on the screen until I (for some reason) scrolled down the page.
Anyway, just wondered if anyone else thought this is a possibility why the chat seems to be ignored. |
