It's not just the "trolls".  I know what to expect of the "trolls".  It was actually the actions of "experts" and "co-ops" that were the final straws, so to speak.

As Tom said very recently, "...anyone is allowed to play any way he likes. There are no rules!"

Well, I like playing solo. I was attempting to re-enter this game and place an 8-letter word when I got the gray screen "HEY! this game is locked by..." I panicked for a moment, then was relieved to see the ISP that I recognize as Laura's; but I was shocked to see how the game played out. http://archive.snoot.org/scribble/05.08/14.16.41.17-1230.html
looks like trolling to me -- but wait, that is an expert playing!

Pardon the vulgarity, but nobody gives a shit about playing scribble anymore (in some cases, if they ever did) - NOBODY - folks all have their personal agendas and vendettas. People that harp about reading the guidelines don't even follow them in the "expert" games, let alone the regular boards. Long-time players make crappy plays and blame their actions on the "trolls". Newbies make great Scrabble plays - but this is scribble. Less is more. A great word doesn't necessarily mean a great play.

sigh... I didn't mean to get up on a soapbox.  I'm not quitting because of "them".  I'm quitting because this game is no fun - and we all contributed to that, including myself.
