forgive my skepticism that you went through Katrina, but you've played scribble almost every day since just before Katrina hit - I did a search for your name and found games in which you played on 8/28, 8/29, 9/1, 9/2, 9/3 9/5, 9/6 and so on, and it seems to me that if you had to evacuate, either before or after the storm hit or the levee broke, you probably wouldn't have carted your webtv along or, more importantly, would've had better things to do before, during and after a hurricane where you lost everything than playing an internet game.

it kind of reminds me of the person that told us they were blind in one eye and couldn't see out of the other, that's why they made bad plays.

i do have sympathy for anyone that lived in the LA/Miss area, but i doubt many of them have been playing games during the last week or so. how were you able to do it? i don't mean that unkindly, i'm curious.

as for the game you're speaking about, it doesn't matter how late in the game the play was, it matters that there were plenty of letters left -- at least 26 letters were left when you played cozier. you need to know the remaining letters and if an 8-ltr word can be played, not just how late in the game it is. there were 8-ltr z wds that could have been played.
