No, then no one would realize that there's a more refined method of playing than placing random words in completely random positions. Why certain people never get tired of playing this way is beyond me...

Everyone knows that no one comes here their first time and starts playing 1200+ point games immediately, myself included. I had to be taught by various 'experts' way back when. The basics of expert play are really not that hard to learn (though some intricacies take a long time to master), and nowadays it's gratifying to be able to play as well as I can. I assume others are similarly pleased when they play their first 200+ point word, or their first 1200-point game, or whatever.

All that being said though, I personally rarely play in games 1-14 except for a play or two here and there. Usually it's just an excuse for me to say "nice one Kellypooâ„¢ " or "nice alphypoo" or something... hehe  :-)
