sorry! i could've been more descriptive...midi signals are not 'opening' the gate at all. so with midi gater active on the track, there is no sound. with the vst version, i press any assigned midi key and the gate opens, and closes when i let go of the key.
routing is as follows...audio track with midi gater applied, midi track sending midi to the midi gated audio track. i'd say it was user error, but my settings are identical between the functioning vst version and the non-functioning au version. live is the only host i can test this in. thanks! |
