I think you're the target because you react so vehemently, which is the desired outcome. If you let it go and not react, then there's nothing for the provoker to respond to. It isn't always easy to not react, but by reacting you're bringing yourself down to their level -- and this isn't just directed at you, Kelly, it's for every player.
The anonymous webbie that keeps going after you must be a child or an incredibly immature adult who seems to wait for you to respond, because you always do. Yes, you have a right to defend yourself, but why waste the effort over some child?
