Yeah, the message boards should eventually get a search engine since they're getting pretty big. One for binary fiction probably wouldn't be too hard to write, but I think I'd rather have people work through the stories from the start.
The worklog can be searched in your browser, since it's all on one page.
I'm waiting for mySQL 3.23 to become stable so I can query on blobs (big text strings, like the ones messages are stored in)... then it will be easy to implement search engines for stuff.
It's too late to learn amortized cost -- your homework is already due. ;) |
