We like the way Geometer's help works, so we're planning on doing similar (perhaps a little less intrusive or optional) for new plugins.

Thanks! Just to mention, though, actually 3 of our plugins have built-in help: Geometer, Scrubby, and Buffer Override 2. But yeah, like Tom said, we agree that adding this to other plugins would be nice...
