As far as I know, no, you can't have more than one cookie.

Most people get around this by simply formatting the cookie line (similar to the HTTP parameters [only with + and ~ or something to save confusion on the command line passing ;)], or maybe your own devising).

I'm not sure as to the maximum length, but I'm fairly sure it's only possible to have just the one cookie - if you have more than one, how would you tell them apart? ;)

I personally have never used cookies, but if I did, I'd probably follow exactly the same as I just described, so I'd have a cookie looking something like this:

set-cookie: username~Bucko+flags=fgh
HTTP_COOKIE=usernam~Bucko+flags=fgh

As for setting for multiple sites, a definate nono.

IIRC there's one stored for each site, and other sites can't get them for security reasons - eg. if a site stores a credit card no in a cookie, you wouldn't want other sites to get at it.

I'm not sure, but you may also have the problem that there's one for each folder. I'm not sure if this is true, but again, it may cause soome problems if it is.
