Last night I upgraded my Linux kernel (so the site was down for an hour or so) ... this seems to have made snoot.org a bit less crashy. The remaining crashes are probably due to flaky hardware or SMP races in the kernel/web server.
As always, if it crashes, just reload and everything should be fine.
When I buy my new computer in a month or so, snoot.org will get my current machine as a "hand-me-down" and things will be a lot faster/more stable! |

It would be fun to take the move sequences from famous chess matches and stick them into the SICO archives with the IPs of people who make lots of requests to the server for who made the moves. That sentence did not make sense. This one does. |
