Whoever invented the letter V needs to be shot. I hate the V. It is driving me crazy!!! All in favor of starting a national campaign to get RID of the V - sign up here.

We've reached 1000+ games... and almost reached 30,000 words. Congrats! :-)
By the way Tom, expect me to have upwards of 5,000 hits to the site tonight.... heh... We started a *really* good game (394 points after 3 words) and I kept hitting reload to get in as soon as possible... Apologies in advance :-)

I added a new feature to SICO where you can see recently completed (xmated or drawn) games, so that after you make a surprising mate against a player that player can actually see what you did. Enjoy! |

Quick question. How come when checking the archives for a game I was playing and couldn't stay to finish around 3:30am Sat. morning when checking it lt looked unfinished and I saw words that could be put. Also saw a couple other games like that. |

Now there's a way to enter words without selecting from the dropdown boxes. You just need to enter these into the 'word' box and possibly add chat. To enter at row e, column 5, across:
e5.word
at row b, colum 12, down:
b12d.word
So, the format is RowletterColumnumberDown.Word -- only append a d at the end if it's down (otherwise it's implied that it's across). I think this is really convenient; enjoy! |

There seems to be many words I've never seen before...proper names, partial words, etc. not listed in Websters dictionary. What dictionary is being used? |

I fixed a bug in SICO which counted the total number of give up requests for ALL GAMES rather than just the game in question when considering a draw. Now it works as intended. =) |
