Binary fiction needs a cancel button. |

In scribble and the like, if I don't want to play a move, I can just press the cancel button. In binary fiction however, all too often have I come across a node which hasn't been written, and which I don't want to write. Unfortunately, I've just locked the node and I can't unlock it for anyone else to write. Or, if I decide to come back later, I find it is still locked and have to wait to be able to write anything.
This happens a lot if I'm just exploring nodes or seeing if anyone has added to my own.
A cancel button to unlock the node would solve this problem. |

Does anyone else go and check their story nodes [like they're your babies or something]? If I write a new one I've gotta keep going back to check on it's growth |

I noticed the new laying of letter squares over colored tiles... for me, this makes it truer to the game on which this is based, but makes it harder to read -- and once the tile has been played, it's multiplier is no longer valid, correct? So it's not really necessary... but much more like real life, with another somewhat similar game.... :)
I was wondering if it was possible to list the letters and numbers along BOTH sides of the scribble board in the interest of making our moves easier on the eyes... :) Maybe it's just me, but I make a lot of mistakes by just typing in the wrong letter or number with my word, and the error message board doesn't remember the previous letter, number, or word. Give it a thought? Thanks! |

How about a "guess word" option as well as a "guess letter" option on hangsnoot? (The old snoot had this.) Knowing what a word is but having to type it in letter by letter is a bit tedious.

SICO now reports moves as closely as it can to traditional abbreviated chess "algebra". This means you'll see 'Qf8' instead of 'Qg7-f8' when unambiguous, which is quite a bit nicer to look at. |

Where are you? Please let me know.
Or at least play the main board occasionally and help the newbies! I really enjoy Scribble being back and have played since the beginning.
I play as ZMA...compaq.com during daytime and as a 'spidey' at night.
Hope to hear from you. 80)
