One gam allowed a non word at the bottom of the board. It was made as a residual to another legitimate word. The unacceptable word was "sh" Maybe I read it wrong. Otherwise, this is a lot of fun and intellectually challenging. Does the board recognize double words, double letter areas? |

Yo 7,
In hangsnoot, it would be nice if the curser started in the box when you open the page and when you choose a letter. You have to click in the box each time.
What the heck did you do that got you in trouble with school?

Hey,
Remember in the old Scribble, the "secret" game #16?? Can you set up a secret game #9 (accessible by direct URL only, no hyperlink). I don't want to sound like an egomaniac, but the placement of some of the words that appear are driving me nuts ;-)
And what was this I heard about a place for "champion" scribble players? Sounds interesting...

If snoot.com goes down unexpectedly in the following week or so, look for information at spacebar.org or on my other web page at http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/~twm/ . |

Couple of Questions:
- How come the new version only gives you 9 tiles, while the old version gave you ten? When the game becomes graphical, will it have 10 tiles? Hope so... :-)
- Also, the new version doesn't have as large a dictionary as the old version. Especially shorter 2-letter words. For example, QI worked in the original but not now. Other examples are IO and EE.
Not really a question, but... please fix ;-)
Thanks...

OK, I dig it.
Don't use "give up" to cancel making a word, use "cancel". Once five people hit "give up" (without making any words in the interim), the game ends! This is meant to be a way to end games where no words can be made.
I'll try to make this more obvious by the text on the links. |

I opened a new game,no words n the board. Then I clicked "Give Up". Got this error:
Enough already -- Game over!(hmm... the score is zero as I'm trying to archive. Something is wrong -- please post to the message board about this and say what you were doing! thanks!)
The time was 5:39PM CST.
Thanks,

I just put up the archive to old Scribble games.
Occasionally some games get sent directly to the archive with 0 points. If this happens it should give you a message -- please post the approximate time and what you were doing (ie, clicked "give up", "cancel", submitted a word, etc.) if this happens.
Thanks! |
