There are two reasons why they might not show up locked. First is that someone might enter the game right before you do. (Your view of the games is only updated when you load the page, not when others do stuff.) Second is that you might have a cached (out-of-date) page that the WebTV cache gave you. There's no good way around that except to reload, which should hopefully fetch the page again. Anyway, if a game is locked just try another. =)
