Maybe she made a typo when she was telling us what was typed... I know she played "oy" somewhere around the upper-right corner, and it ended up at B1-Down (not A2-Down like I said, you can see that in the pic... my bad). This was definitely not a case of just playing "b1d.oy" in the hopes it would take it. How fortunate for us, as it provided the ultimate disconnected set-up for the "triple-triple"... LOL  :-)

Anyway, the game can be found in the archives here:

For your benefit, we all agreed while playing this game, not to "connect" the two "separate" games within the board... hehe. Truth be told, if this were a repeatedly exploitable bug, none of us would've said a word (hehe), but since we can't duplicate it, we figured we'd speak  ;-)

From the archives, the game ended early Sunday, 12/21/03, at 2:11 AM... so let's say the weird word was entered around 1:50 AM or so.

Hope this helps... good luck  :-)

Another thing I just noticed is that the "OY" play was worth 12 points. Had that disconnected "OY" been a legit play, it would've scored only four points!!

You may be on to something, Tom... at the time it was played, there was only MAXILLAS in the upper-right (no "EF" play yet). In theory, OY would be worth exactly 12 points if the hypothetical play "a16d.oy" was made (i.e. a 16th column). How this translates into "b1d.oy" is beyond me... some sort of hexadecimal "rollover"?!?!?   :)

Wild stuff...!!
