Thanks Mike! I think I fixed it. (I know what you mean about wanting such little tricks in there.. but it's better to have the game work the way it's supposed to! ;))
All I did was prevent any column entry > 15. (It previously had a bug that allowed exactly one column of overflow.) The adjacency checking code is still the same, though (with 'wrap-around' behavior, presumably), so I wonder if there isn't another way to exhibit the bug?
