I've only encountered at most two players who may be playing with malicious intent - and even them I am not sure about.  It's hard to know whether or not someone is out to just ruin the games or whether they are just new and uninformed about the intent of those of us who play regularly.  I know when I first started I didn't notice the chats so there were probably people coaching me along through the chats and it probably seemed like I was just ignoring them.  I think this is the case the majority of the time.

I think the only thing we can do is try to steer newbies (for lack of a better word) in the right direction as far as cooperative play.

It's just a game so I wouldn't let it get to you.  Just try to have fun and work around those who may be out to dampen your fun.

If you want we could try to set up times where we play regularly (might be difficult to come to an agreement but the experts seem to have a good system) so we can stick to just a handful of games.

There are always the expert boards as well. ;-)

sabotedd,  I hope I'm not on your troubled list.  I'm not a strong player, and am trying to get better. I watch those I call "experts" and try and learn from their previous plays.  Yes, some do on purpose....like troll (?).  I think someone may think that was I, but I assure you it was not. I get frustrated in learning, and even further frustrated with what you're speaking about.  Hang in there...it will get better!!!  Debi
