Well, occasionally when I'm on the boards with no one else there, I'll play alone. No biggie. I doubt anyone would even be aware of this, save for the fact that a couple of Top 50 games were one-man efforts.   :-)

I personally don't think it's that big of a deal. To play a fifty-word game alone requires me to sign in and out of my Verizon DSL fifty times. bleh.

Just my two cents.  :-)

I didn't say it had anything to do with signing on/off -- I spoke of going in and out of boards.

Nonetheless, just because someone sets up a play they want to make (or think is the best next play) is no excuse for playing 2 words in a row, nor is being the best player. And it's irritating to be blocked from playing because Om du Jour has played 5 words in a row and I have the same ISP but haven't figured out how to bypass the system yet.

If players want to play solo, let them pull out their Scrabble board and do it privately, not here -- this game wasn't set up to be a place to show off, it was meant as a place to cooperate and work with each other.
