I'd like to point out 2 things here (maybe more)
First, who was just "screaming" about Amber in an earlier post? check that IP again; not to mention McPiP, btopenworld(God), LEO, attbi, aol(jb & me), ameritech, optonline, iprimus, cox.net... etcetera. If you "find it suspicious that the only people who purposely mess up the board are webbies" you have a bias, or selective memory or just aren't looking too hard.
It's easy to point out webbies as trolls, because it is only 1 IP to remember. Having played this game for over a year (and "signing" my posts long before Tom invented the clever nickname feature last December, btw) I have seen an equal number of trolls from both "camps".
Webbies don't have a choice of which proxy/IP we can use; MSNTV is a service, and all of our files --for ALL webbies, everywhere-- are stored somewhere in California. We can't upload or download or backload anything; the little black box that sits on our TV has just enough memory to connect us to MSN.
[oops, sidetracked there] back to trolls. Secondly, naw... trolls don't want anybody to conform to their way of play, they just play. You gripe, they MighT gripe back, but most of the true trolls say nothing. If anything, it is the experts who insist on conformity; the only rule Tom made was to play nice, an expert developed the guide. Don't get me wrong, I have great respect for Mike and the suggestions he makes in the guide, but they are not the rules of this game.
I saw your nic on the board, but I haven't seen a New Attitude in this post; you are still gnawing on the same suspicious anti-webbie bone you otto gave you 10 days ago. Bury it, already. |
