very nice... hehe, you don't *have* to avoid ties -- soon enough it's going to be impossible to avoid them -- the Top 50 is going to get crowded because it's basically not going "up" anymore.  :-\

This game was perfectly played except after all the trips had been played. But, here's the usual list of improvements:

1. Word #41 (played "D" for 8 points). D could've gone at K12 for 10 points. 2 points missed.

2. Word #42 (played W and E at once for 12 points). The W alone could've gone at N14 for 22 points (!!). Then the E could've gone at L3 for 7 points. 17 points missed  :-\

3. Word #49 (played R for 7 points). Assuming you had done the above, you couldn't play the R here because "EWE" wouldn't be there. But it could've gone at I4 (HOER) for the same number of points. This isn't really a "mistake", just showing how the same point score could be had.

19 points missed that I could see. Don't kick yourself, I do this to my own games too... hehe. I guarantee though you'll now always remember than AWN is a word!   :-)

I couldn't avoid the tie. heh. Good game, considering all trips were 8 letters and the starting word was 7 letters. Tile order in the 2nd half came perilously close to wrecking the whole game, but pulled through barely...  :-)
