I think we are in for another "upgrade" alpha. We seem to have connectivity problems just before that happens -- and I am having problems with other sites, too.
Those odd IPs also show up occasionally during these troublesome times. I have been listed as "numbers" as well as coming out of 3 different states (at different times). "when the cache fails" sounds like a logical reason for this problem.
No webbie can change their IP - even if you use a different ISP, you'd still show up as webtv. |

sorry about that anonymous post - I forgot that from work it doesn't show my name, and I hit the wrong button before I could type anything.
Now you've made me curious: how do you know mine was from NY and amber Chicago? Obviously you have to search something, cuz webtv in and of itself gives nothing away! |
