My guess on bfksc - someone with the initials bfk from South Carolina?
'K set' or similar, is that a set up has been created to place a K on a TLS (Triple Letter Score) by making 2 words on a subsequent turn to maximize the points (eg. "it" is the set, placing "knave" & creating "kit" at the same time doubles the TLS). A set is usually to a premium tile, unless it is during the end of the game, and I might place "aid" or "at" anywhere to set a U-less Q. Otherwise, we have to "eat the Q" which means the game will sit until enough people "blue button" it. This means certain number of different players have to vote to quit a game by clicking the blue "no more plays" button on the game board.
A trip is specifically for an 8-letter double trip - and like the previous posters, I am not intending to start a debate by stating my stance here, which is based on solid strategy.
All of the other abbreviations that I can think of are common to internet chat and usually just take the first letter from each word. np - no problem; LOL - laugh out loud (or online); ty - thank you; vn! very nice |
