I have given you tips during play - perhaps you haven't noticed the chat that is on each game board? Scroll down past the board and you will see the all of the plays and any chat that players have left for each other.
The tip that you missed on game #2 was that the X is worth 50pts by itself if it is used on a triple letter score. Look for a vowel set beside a light blue box and then make a small word like ex, ax, ox, xu or xi going the other direction. If possible, set the new word in a way so that 2 more words can be played from the 2 little ones you just made. Less is more in scribble.
Also, maximize the points of your play by using an S to make 2 words. There is usually a word on the board that could be pluralized by your word that contains S.
There are a lot of great tips in the "experts" guide, even if you don't consider yourself an expert.
