Now, if we could just get all newbies to read what you have written. LOL - I remember when I first came to scribble (at least 2 years ago, btw) and see "OE" set under a triple letter score and think "WHY didn't they just PLaY the J??" and play it myself. Only, I wasn't considering the "across" play that doubles the TLS - and was quickly corrected by Laura. Once I caught on to the fact that scribble is not Scrabble, and the strategy of this game I became a wiz at set ups. Then I found a webby-compatible anagrammer and learned the "secret" of Premium-on-the-DLS plays.
Dominoes are the perfect analogy. I dole the letters out one-at-a-time just like those tiles. It challenges my creativity to scour the board to find the perfect place to eke the most possible points out of every letter. The trip is fun - it challenges my patience at times! but it is very rewarding to place that Q on the dls -- like finally be able to tap that first dominoe.
