As for regular "4-trip" games, you'll see a 2000-point game when hell freezes over. heh. Actually, this game somewhat restored my hope that the 1st place game will someday be beaten. Had the best final trip on this game been 10 letters, this game would've probably scored around 1950 or 1960. Combine that with a 9-letter start instead of an 8-letter start, and more fortuitous set-ups, and you've got your 2000-point game. But much easier said than done, as the past 7 years have shown. ;-)
Alternatively, if you changed the Scribble program so that we could see the entire tile order (all 98 tiles), I'd bet you'd see a 2000+ game in less than a week. :-) |
